About Robert Rodriguez

This Award winning Beatles scholar is a student of history, especially the pop culture parts. He’s written or contributed to nine books (with more coming); though he did not set out to write five books about the Beatles (with more coming), what can he say? There’s always something left to talk about, isn’t there?

You can check out his published works here.

You can check in on his daily archival Facebook postings here.

You can check out his podcast, Something About The Beatles, here.

He lives in the Chicago suburbs with his wife and two young kids. Every so often, he speaks before groups at area libraries on (what else?), the Beatles, in presentations that include rare video. Check here for updates.

He’s also a featured speaker at the annual Fest for Beatles Fans in Chicago (well, Rosemont actually). Sometimes, he is called “Richard,” though he rarely answers to this.

Robert is also the creator and Series Executive Editor of the FAQ series, published by the Hal Leonard Performing Arts Group.

  • Hi, Robert,

My name is Bob Palas, and I am an Adult Services Librarian at the Morton Grove Public Library. I also handle some of the programming and am interested in finding out what your program entails. Is it Powerpoint? Slideshow? Have you presented at libraries in the past? If so, which ones? How long is your presentation? How much is your presentation fee? I am in the middle of planning a Beatles Month for either June or July of 2017 and am trying to get a good idea as to what is out there regarding resources. If you could let me know at your earliest convenience, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you and have a great day!

Rob, this is Francesca (D’Ambrosio). A voice from the past (high school). I’m not sure if this is the right address to leave a personal email, but I just wanted to extend my personal congratulations, albeit belated. The fact that your your book series is widely popular and has gained critical acclaim is no surprise to me. From very early on, you had an encyclopedic knowledge of the Beatles and this series is the perfect showpiece, superbly and meticulously researched and written, for all of us to enjoy.

    RAH RAH FENTON HIGH!

    Sincerely,

    Francesca

    Hello,

I am a photo working on an SIP about The Beatles. It is being released from Centennial Media. The magazine will be sold in the US, Canada and Germany. Circulation is 50,000.

We would like to feature your book “Revolver: How the Beatles Reimagined Rock ‘n’ Roll” in the book. Would you be able to send me a high-res photo of it?

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Many thanks,
    Valeria Suasnavas

Robert, I am a huge Beatles fan as well. I have eight Beatles photographs from the years 1962 through 1969 that I am offering for purchase. I can email scans of them to you if you are interested. Please let me know.

    Thank You!

    Wayne
